3.1 Issue Panel Checklist

Enable Checklist

Clicking the ‘Check It Checklist’ icon at the top of the Issue Panel activates the Checklist and creates a Checklist block.

Add Checklist Item

Enter the contents in the Checklist Item entry window and press the Enter key to create the item.

A new Checklist Item is added by typing in the input box and pressing Enter, or by clicking the 'Add item' icon on the right.

Add Checklist Section (New)

Type something into the input box and click the 'Add section' icon on the right to add a Checklist Section to separate the Checklist Items.

Alternatively, you can type a phrase starting with '---' and press Enter to add it as a Checklist Section.

 

Edit Checklist Item

When you click your mouse in the text area of a Checklist Item, you can edit that item.

Re-order Checklist Item

Change the order by dragging the left bar of the Checklist Item and Section.

 

Delete Checklist Item

You can delete a Checklist Item by clicking the 'Delete' icon on the right that appears when you hover over it.

 

Complete Checklist Item

Check the box on the left side of the Checklist Item to change the item to completed status.

 

Convert between Checklist Items and Sections (New)

You can convert a Checklist Item to a Checklist Section by clicking the 'Change to section' icon on the right that appears when you hover over the Checklist Item.

However, you cannot convert a completed Checklist Item to a Checklist Section.

 

Similarly, you can convert a Checklist Section to a Checklist Item by clicking the "Change to item" icon that appears on the right when you hover over the Checklist Section.

 

Create a Jira Issue with Checklist Item (New)

You can register a Checklist Item as a Jira Issue by clicking the "Create issue with this item" icon that appears on the right when you hover over the Checklist Item.

 

Checklist Items that are registered as Jira Issues display an Issue Key as shown below.
