Scan It for Jira provides two methods of setting Secret Rules: System Rules and Custom Rules.
System Rules
System Rules are Scan It provides two methods to set the scan rules: Built-In Scan Rules and Custom Scan Rules.

Built-In Scan Rules
Built-In Scan Rules are the pre-defined rules provided by Vendor.

Each rule of System Rules is represented by a Regular Expression.
App Administrators can app vendor. (We are PLATEER.)
In ‘Settings > Built-In Scan Rules’ tab, check the scan rule list and set whether or not to enable each rule.

Custom Scan Rules
Custom Scan Rules are the user-defined rules that App Administrators can define by themselves.

App Administrators can add through the '+' buttonIn ‘Settins > Custom Scan Rules’ tab, create or edit the scan rules.

Click the 'Add Rule' button to create the Custom Rule.
Name: Name of the Custorm Scan Rule
Description: Description of the Custom Scan Rule
Pattern(RegEx): Regular Expression Expressions of the Custom Scan Rule
Enter Regular Expression Expressions except for the front and back delimiter, slash('/').
You can Click the ‘Validate pattern’ button to check if Regular Expression entered is grammatically correct through the "Check" button.
Use Click the "‘Test " string’ button to see if the string you enter entered matches Regular ExpressionExpressions.
Use: Sets whether the rule is enabled or not.

Click the pencil or trash in ‘Actions’ column, to edit or delete the Custom Scan Rules.
