Manage all Jira Labels in one place.

3-1 View Labels

View all Jira Labels (Global)

Click Label It for Jira in the top Global menu 'App'. You can view list of all Jira labels in the system-level.

View all Jira Project Labels (Project)

Click Label It for Jira in the left-side menu for each project. You can view a list of all Jira labels in the project-level.

[NOTICES] Case of Labels and Issue counts

  • Labels are case-sensitive, but in the Issue count view, they are combined and displayed as one.

  • For example, if the Label "Moon" and the Label "moon" are used in 10 and 5 Issues, respectively, the Issue count for "Moon" and the Issue count for "moon" are combined to show 15 Issues each.

  • Please note that this is due to the way Atlassian API is implemented.

3-2 Show Issue Count

Tap the 'Show issue count' icon at the top of the list of labels to see the total number of issues along with the number of issues using each Label.

3-3 Rename Label

Click each label name, and rename it, and press the ‘Enter' key or click the Confirm('V') button.

Clicking the ‘Cancel’(X) button or clicking another label name cancels the rename action. (The content you entered will be canceled.)

[NOTICES] Label names cannot exceed 255 characters and cannot contain spaces.

3-4 Remove Label

Click the ‘Trash Can’ button on the right side of each label to remove the label.

3-5 Merge Labels

If you want to merge A label into B label, rename A label to the same name as B label. Then the A label is merged into the B label.

3-6 Search for Labels

Search by label name in the top search window. The searched list displays all labels that contain the search keyword.

3-7 Search for Issues using the Label

Clicking the 'Show issue filter' icon in the right-hand 'Actions' column will open a filter page where you can see a list of issues that are using the label.
